Star Wars Merchandise

Eleven films, one animated film, an animated TV series, dozens of video games, comic books and novels. And that’s not even counting the Lego stuff. Star Wars has put out so much content that it has woven itself into the fabric of Western culture. Congratulations George Lucas. No matter what anyone thinks about his later work, he spawned a franchise that we adore. We all love the snooty Jedi versus the scheming Sith, and knowing whether you are light side or dark side has captured childhood imaginations since 1977. So, of course there is already plenty of Star Wars merchandise out there, but here we have official Disney Star Wars merchandise, gifts and collectables. A collection of t-shirts, mugs, keyrings and masks, with your favourite characters be they Luke, Darth Vader, R2D2, Boba Fett or Yoda. Why this film series has become so dominant in our culture is anyone’s guess. Don’t we all just desperately want to play with lightsabers?
