TV shows are as much a part of our lives, and culture, as movies. Binge-watching gets deeper when a story arc develops over ten 40-minute episodes rather than one two-hour film. The possibilities for deeper, broader and therefore more exciting storytelling usually comes from the humble small screen. Take the prestige TV shows of the early noughties – The Sopranos, The Wire – that paved the way and let big budgets go on producing Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and Stranger Things. And never forget the other gems that we will never stop rewatching like Friends, Dragonball Z and Rick & Morty. So, we have gathered a collection of TV gifts and merchandise, like Star Trek phasers, Riverdale t-shirts, Rick & Morty bed sheets, and Game of Thrones collectables. Don’t let the big film producers hear about this, but we might just say that more of our favourite characters are starting to come from TV shows.
